Teaching students about Herps
One of the activities I most thoroughly enjoy is teaching children about local wildlife, especially reptiles and amphibians. I often bring a few live animals to allow the kids an opportunity to gets "hand on" and realize that there are so many cool things we can learn from them rather then fearing them.

Wild Felid AssociationI am a member of the Wild Felid Association, an organization committed to the research, conservation, and management of wild felids. I maintain the 'Recent Literature' section of the biannual newsletter The Wild Felid Monitor, and contribute occasionally to other sections.
